The SNCF Advantage card is a program that allows – 30 % reduction on your TGV and intercité Journeys all year round. The advantage card usually offered for the price of EUR 49 per year, is 44 euros on the train with code Beast. The offer is valid from 18 February to 28 February within the limit of 26,000 available codes.
How does this incorrect TGV advantage work?
SNCF Advantage card reduces TGV travel costs. It is available in three versions with conditions adapted to the user’s age.
- Young card : 12 -27 years (30 % reduction and -60 % for up to 3 children);
- Adult card : 27-59 years (30 % off for you + accompanying person and -60 % for 3 children);
- Senior card : 60 and more (30 % reduction for you and -60 % for up to 3 children);
The Advantage card works similarly for all its versions. In principle, it offers a minimum reduction by 30 % on unhealthy and intercity trains TGV in class 2 and 1ʳᵉ. In addition, it limits tariffs for tickets to 2ᵈᵉ to:
- 49 € maximum for travel less than 1h30;
- 69 € maximum for travel between 1h30 and 3h;
- € 89 for more than 3 hours.
Maintaining ceilings of cards benefits

What is Trainline?
Although it is not SNCF, you can go there by closing your eyes. Trainline is a reliable British retailer where you can make reservations for tickets to the train and bus from Eurostar, Thalys, Flixbus, SNCF or Ouigo. Its application is equally useful and offers a good alternative to SNCF Connect for ticket management.
