Singer Mohit Chauhan experienced a momentary scare during his performance at the AIIMS Bhopal annual cultural fest, Retina 8.0, when he tripped and fell on stage while singing his popular track, ‘Nadaan Parindey’.
The incident occurred on Sunday night, December 7, 2025, in front of a large crowd of students and attendees. According to reports and viral videos circulating on social media,
Chauhan was engaging with the audience and moving towards the front of the stage when he accidentally stumbled over a lighting fixture placed near the edge, causing him to lose his balance and fall forward.
The music immediately cut off, and the sudden, alarming sight of the celebrated singer falling prompted gasps of shock from the audience. Organizers, band members, and on-ground staff instantly rushed onto the stage to assist him.
Given that the event was hosted at a premier medical institute, doctors were readily available and attended to him without delay to check for any injuries. The concert was briefly paused to ensure the singer’s safety and well-being.
Although the moment was tense and alarming, reports from the event indicated that Chauhan was quickly cleared by the medical staff and was able to resume his performance, continuing to delight the crowd with his hits, including ‘Sadda Haq’, ‘Tum Se Hi’, and ‘Ilahi’.
The fact that he was singing live on stage, as noted by some fans reacting to the viral video, was seen as a testament to his professionalism, even after the unexpected mishap. While the singer has not issued an official statement regarding the fall, the event proceeded normally after the brief interruption.
