It all started when I moved from India to South Korea about 20 months back. Somehow I found out how to turn BH into MH and managed to sell my M340i Becaus Life turned and I got out in South Korea.

Do we consider Cayenne? Cayenne has never been a possibility – too big. Too bulky, not agile enough and simply not the right Porsche in my modest opinion.
This led to further research and it really came to Panamera or electric Porsche.
As I arrived at Taycan
Research has led to doubts about Taycan. The review of the car, as far as “Porsche” was concerned, was amazing. But it was also depreciation – Taycans really got rid of more value than my dog casts hair when she grows a new coat every year! But getting a used used, which was less than 20 km and was less than 2 years old, was about 30% -35% cheaper than getting a brand new. And further research suggests that depreciation existed, it was mostly in the years 1-3.
So we went. To the center of Porsche in the famous “Gangnam” district in Seoul to check Taycan out. The commercial representation had a sedan on the display. And while the amazing car, it was small and insufficient at the back, especially in the area of light. Further research and Gran Turismo were introduced. Great!
So he turned off again. This time to test Gran Turismo. The test managed the GTS version and did not disappoint. In addition to the electric car, it was treated and felt just like the 911 and much better than Macan GTS. My decision was made.
Next step – start looking for cars approved Porsche that fits the account. With the commercial representation, the Carmine Red 4S Gran Turismo with 18 km was available for the first time registered in July 2023. It looked perfect and it had all the configurations (plus the next) I was looking for. The car was checked, the request for paperwork and 3 days later we brought it home! Function and options
One of the disadvantages I found with Porsche is that standard equipment is often relatively basic for a car with the Porsche price brand. Even if they allow you to configure a lot of everything, it easily adds 20-40% to the already high price. When I went shopping, it was clear to me that the minimum configuration I want is –
1. Sports seat
2. Sports Chrono Package
3. Adaptive air suspension (fortunately it is standard on tour)
4. PDLS (BI xenon’s default headlamps are just outdated on the car with the arrival of LED)
5. Bose audio system. The default sound wouldn’t cut it for me
6. Performance plus batteries (standard again on tourist)

Enough about functions. Let’s get to the main course. Drive.
Driving and manipulation
One of the disadvantages I deal with is a brand with brand new summer tires. And Korean winters are rough. Since I got a car, it still has a freezing temperature. Summer tires do not like this weather well. Therefore, it was not possible to push the car so much. For obvious security reasons. The tires are as hard as the rock and do not provide the necessary traction!
But here’s a quick summary.
1) The torque on this thing is simply crazy. For context it is in the M340i in the M340i. Moment. Effort.
2) In Sports Plus Auto hit 100 for just over 3 seconds. And in fact, you can feel and experience it. Since 4S is 4WD, the wheel spin is relatively lower and only screws. CRAZY.
3) The car masks its weight very well (it is a car of more than 2 tons). You don’t really feel it
4) Manipulation. If one thing has grown on me, it is manipulation. Even more than torque. The way in which the proceedings are bound. And how accurate it is. The way the car hugs the road with summer tires MISFIT on freezing asphalt! As I said earlier, I rented and managed 911 and I would safely say that in my experience, it is hardly different, if at all, in how Taycan processes versus how 911 processes. Create an electric car that is just inclusive engineering from Porsche.
5) Ride quality – Beauty here is that you get exactly what you choose. The suspension has 3 modes. It also has 3 heights. So you can mix and match to some extent. And the convenience regime actually gives you a truly plush compatible driving by camouflage on the road. Switch to a sports plus melody, put the chassis height as “low” and you are in the GO-Kart territory!
Again – I’m not an expert and honestly, I still have to pull the car on a long winding ride. This will have to wait until the end of March or April, when it is 18-20 ° C and summer tires can start doing what they should do!
Scope and charging
The car comes with 93 kWh (I think I have the right) battery that gave me about 390 km in winter. I expect the output to be 20% better in the summer – so about 450 km+ should be fair.
The public charging network is amazing – there are 45 loaders in the parking lot of my home complex. You all pay as you go. Another 10 in the parking lot in the office. On 100+ Super Chargers between Hyundai and Tesla in Seoul. And for road trips on highways are fast chargers every 40-50 km. The car can go from 15% to 80% in less than 20 minutes. Korea n so I am very worried about or charged.
Conclusion
I consider MY LYSSELF extremely fortunate to have the honor of owning and driving the Porsche. It would never be possible and frankly, even if it would be financially possible, I would only do it in India. Road and everything else, as well as high high costs, make it a really bad decision to own.
